“Who then is this?”
“Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?” In this week’s focus scripture story, Jesus and his earliest disciples find themselves on a boat unexpectedly overcome by a fierce and mighty storm. To the astonishment of the disciples, Jesus seems to be able to sleep through it all… but to their even greater astonishment after they rouse him, he’s able to rescue them from the storm. Both great danger and great power-to-save can leave us in fear and awe. And God’s presence is with us in it all.
