“David’s Sin and Sorrow”
This week, our scripture focus takes a turn as we begin a few week dip into a part of the Old Testament stories about King David. In this week’s passage, those old vices of greed and lust get to work derailing the course God had set David upon. While Rev. Matt is away this Sunday at the end of a week of study leave, we welcome back to our pulpit Daniel Martin, a candidate for ordination currently taking up leadership of a new United Church new-church-start community in New Westminster set to begin public gatherings this fall.
