“The Beginning of the End”
As we drop into the Gospel of Mark for one final time this season, we again meet up with Jesus as he is speaking with his first disciples, this time during the final days right before his crucifixion and departure from them. He warns his disciples about trials and tribulations that were undoubtedly going to be ahead for them, but also reveals to them that the pains and challenges are but the “birth pangs”… the beginnings of something new emerging.
