"When the Wine Runs Out"
The Sundays after Epiphany continue to celebrate God revealing God's glory in Jesus to us, just as it was made known to the magi and to those on standing and watching alongside the river at Jesus' baptism. This week, the revealing comes to us at a wedding feast. God rejoices over God's people as those being married rejoice over one another. By the power of the Spirit there are gifts galore for everyone. In Christ Jesus, not only do we find out that the best wine is saved for last, but we find out that God’s power shows up just when we thought the wine had run out. Taste and see that the Lord is good!
