“Is This a Good Time to Call?”
This Sunday, we continue to discover how God appoints unlikely instruments and circumstances to reveal God’s own glory. “Who will go for us?” God asks… from a throne in an other-worldly vision, and at a lakeshore in the most ordinary, work-a-day of communities. A person of unclean lips and three fishermen who couldn’t catch a thing, it would seem, are the ones God calls. More surprising still, perhaps, is that we also are called.
