June 4th Worship Off-site (No in-person worship at CUC)
Pacific Mountain Regional Council's Celebration of Ministry Service
Sunday, June 4, at 10:00 am, in-person at University of Fraser Valley in Abbotsford or Online via YouTube.
Next weekend, on June 4th, we will not be having our own worship service here at Cloverdale United Church. Instead, you are invited and encouraged to come on over to Abbotsford for the Celebration of Ministry worship service of the Pacific Mountain Regional Council of The United Church. The Celebration of Ministry service, which concludes the regional council's 2023 annual meeting, is the worship service where new members of the Order of Ministry of our denomination are ordained or commissioned each year. The Rev. Beth Hayward, who is soon ending her tenure as lead minister at Vancouver's Canadian Memorial United Church, will be preaching. Our own Rev. Matt will be one of the worship leaders presiding at the service.
For those able to come on over in-person, the service is being held at the University of the Fraser Valley, 1395 McKenzie Road, Abbotsford BC, V2S 7M8, in the UFV Envision Financial Athletic & Recreational Centre ("Building E") in the southeast corner of the campus; for a map, click here: www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?
