Inquirers’ Classes at Cloverdale United Church are a set of informational workshops to learn more about Cloverdale United Church—our history and faith perspective, our heritage as part of The United Church of Canada, our structure and activities, even our growing edges and future directions. Inquirers’ Classes are open to all… and are particularly appropriate for individuals who want to think about joining the official membership of our congregation.
Rev. Matt is beginning to plan our next series, to be held over 2 or 3 sessions during the Season of Easter (between Easter Sunday on March 31 and Pentecost Sunday on May 19) .
If you want to explore a bit more about who we are as a church, or you’ve already been thinking about becoming a member, let Pastor Matt know: email him at matt@cloverdaleunitedchurch.ca. The schedule for sessions will be determined in conversation with interested participants. Hybrid format is possible for these sessions, if there are any participants who want or need to take part remotely/online (please indicate this need to Rev. Matt when registering).
(Note, the Inquirers’ Classes are particularly suited for individuals with at least a little bit of previous exposure to Christianity in some form. Pastor Matt intends to offer a more extensive faith formation experience for adults who are completely new to Christianity later in the year.)
