28th Sunday in Ordinary Time (Thanksgiving)

As we gather this weekend in the midst of our civic Thanksgiving holiday, the theme of gratitude and how we express it takes centre stage in a story from Jesus' ministry told by the gospel of Luke.  Continuing our series on "Four Prayers That Don't Work", the actions of the players in this story invite us to think about "The Prayer That You Didn't Pray", particularly when that prayer is the prayer of thanks.

In worship this week, we'll encounter this story through an enacted retelling and then have the opportunity to respond to the Word through interactive worship stations inviting our prayer, meditation, creative action, and more.
