We continue our way through the Exodus story this week, one of the richest and most dramatic stories we find in our Bibles, reaching the climactic moment when Pharaoh finally releases the Hebrew people from their enslavement, memorialized every year in the Jewish community in the Passover festival. The Rev. Gabrielle Suedfeld, a guest preacher and worship leader familiar to many of us here at Cloverdale United Church, leads worship this weekend while Rev. Matt is away, and will share from extensive experience with Passover celebrations among portions of her own family who come from Jewish background.
